Before we start, what’s a rower?

The rowing machine is a sport derived from rowing and it's one of the most complete workout machines. The rowing machine allows you to work your upper and lower body, while getting your heart pumping to stimulate the cardiovascular system.

The rowing machine uses about 84% of your muscles such as your abdominal muscles, glutes, quadriceps, back, shoulders, legs, biceps and triceps. 🏃‍♀️🏋️‍♂️🤸‍♀️💪

We want to be as honest as possible with you. The rowing machine is easy to use, but it’s also easy to do it wrong.

👉 It is an exercise that requires concentration. All you need to do is adopt the right posture to obtain the desired results without injuring yourself.

Don’t worry, here is a little checklist to guide you through your rowing session :

  • Sit comfortably.

  • The strap on your feet should be tight and placed in the middle of your shoe.

  • Keep your back straight, tighten your abs, align your shoulders with your pelvis, look straight ahead and start!

  • Push with your legs, then pull with your arms!

  • Bring the bar to belly button level (keeping the handle parallel to the ground!)

  • Release and return to your original position (keep your back straight, and don't let your hands touch your knees!)

  • There you go!
