Specifically developed for pool and spa owners, the AquaChek TruTest Digital Test Strip Reader combines the ease and accuracy of AquaChek test strips with advanced digital technology. Eliminates interpreting color results! Numerical results displayed along with “low,” “ok,” and “high” indicators.
Just dip a test strip in your pool or spa, set the test strip on the channel and get fast accurate results! Can also be used in pools with salt generators! Test for 3 important chemistries in seconds: Free Chlorine/Bromine, pH, Total Alkalinity.
The included test strip sample bottle contains 25 strips.
Warranty Coverage: Hach Water Testing Systems come with a 60 Days Limited Manufacturers Warranty. The manufacturer warrants this water testing system against defects on workmanship and materials. This warranty will be void if this water testing system is damaged as a result of improper installation or use, or if damage is a result of ice. Warranty does not cover any labour charges, cost of lost water or chemicals, or any other damages that may occur.
Start a Warranty Claim:To begin a claim please email [email protected] with a photo showing the defect(s)/damage to your Hach Water Testing System and include a brief explanation of what occurred.
I suppose I misunderstood exactly how this works. It still works with coloured test strips, but this device has a lens which tries its best to interpret the shade of each strip element and report the results. So its kind of like paying for a better pair of eyes. Except, I can't say its definitively better - it seems ambient light/daylight has an effect. Same with dip time - did you dip your strip an extra half-second long? Shake off enough of the water? To me, it's as effective as using your eyes. In fact, I find myself double-checking the results of this with good ol' regular test strips and have purchased more of those for backup! Can't really recommend.
