The new and improved, next-generation AOP is designed to give you everything you need in a high-powered advanced sanitizer.
Top to bottom, the next generation AOP was designed with pool pro feedback. With such a simple installation, this is a perfect unit for existing pools as well as new installations. In AOP systems, the highly unstable hydroxyl free radicals react with dissolved waterborne contaminants in a series of strong oxidation reactions. This process happens almost instantaneously. AOP systems also destroy and prevent chloramines—formed when chlorine reacts with sweat or urine—that cause “pool smell” as well as eye and skin irritations, which dramatically increases water clarity and improves the pool experience.
AOP is the Advanced Oxidation Process. When germicidal UV light (UV-C) and ozone react, the result is the production of hydroxyl radicals. This reaction is known as Advanced Oxidation Process or AOP. Hydroxyl radicals (•OH) are the most powerful oxidation agents available. They quickly destroy bacteria, viruses, pathogens and other contaminants that occur in the water.
AOP is the most powerful advanced sanitizer. It has a higher Oxidation Potential than any other residential pool oxidizer available. It’s more than double the power of common water treatments like chlorine. In fact, AOP is even more powerful than Ozone.

This unit utilizes one Germicidal UV Lamp (16,000 hour life expectancy, or approx. 18 months) and two 9-1056-01 APG Ozone Modules (5 year life expectancy). Product includes an 18 month warranty on UV Lamp, and 2 year parts warranty on all other components.
Warranty Coverage: CMP Water Sanitizers come with an 18 Month Limited Manufacturers Warranty on the Lamp ONLY. The manufacturer warrants this water sanitizer against defects on workmanship and materials. This warranty will be void if this sanitizer is damaged as a result of improper installation or use, or if damage is a result of ice. Warranty does not cover any labour charges, cost of lost water or chemicals, or any other damages that may occur.

Works well sanitizing but you will not find support if something on the unit fails. My unit lasted less than three summers until the control board died. Pool supplies Canada could not assist because the unit was out of warranty and referred me to the OEM. The OEM could not sell a replacement control board directly. The OEM referred me to a pool supply distributor in Mississauga but they do not have the control board part number in their system for ordering. Every other online retailer that I’ve found the replacement board for are US based and will not ship to Canada.
The DEL Ozone Next Gen AOP25 (53000-025-000) is a super product combine with the automatic CMP puck chlorinator adjusted at min for maintaining a level of 1ppm free chlorine. I analyse the water once a week and it is almost always perfect the only chemical that I add once a month or so, is PH+ for maintaining the PH level at 7.4. The only complaint I would make is about the parts supplies for standard maintenance ( UV lamps, O rings, Quartz tube sleeves, Ozone generator, etc.), for this unit. There is no parts available from any distributors. Can not even buy direct from the manufacturer. Very annoying. I am about to need UV lamps because they are at their end of life and next year I will need the Ozone generator, but can't find any yet. I would have given 5 starts but because of product support I give 2 starts.
