The warranty will be void if the heater is not installed by a licensed technician, or the heater has been installed on a soft sided pool. Please see product manual for specific warranty details.

Lasted 4 seasons and heat exchanger leaking terribly bad. Pool season is only 5 months long and was barely used. Installed by a certified tech, wintered and stored properly. Terrible product.
250,000 btu for not quite 2 seasons. Heat exchanger is gone, leaking water everywhere. Now check out the price for a heat exchanger; throw the furnace in the garbage because it doesn’t make sense replacing parts for that price. This was by far the worst pool heater I have ever owned. I used to be a Hayward fan, but now, I will NEVER EVER buy a Hayward product again. Absolute Garbage! As a side note, I had this heater professionally installed by a pool company and had it plumbed in by a certified gas fitter. I kept it inside a pool shed and had it vented through the roof. This was the first heater I “babied” due to the high price and it still couldn’t perform for 2 full seasons.
This heater works excellent. Heats up the pool in a couple of hours and is easy to use.
This is a really nice gas pool heater. It is very easy to use. Our gas tech had it hooked up in no time. It is quiet and heats up our pools pretty quickly.
Starts up every time and works great. Very pleased with this product.
Super impressed with this heater. Heats our 24ft round pool from 70 to 80 in only a couple of hours. Easy to hook up and easy to operate. Best price on the market, just can't go wrong with a Hayward in my opinion,we just love our new addition. Made our summer for 2017. Thanks for the great service once again.
When it works, it works well. BEware of the circuit board after 4-5 years. You will get a "CE" error code which means the circuit board and display board needs to be replaced (a $500 repair) Google the code and see how many people have this problem. I get the code but I'm running my heater off an Aqua Pro control so I bypass the display board and it doesn't affect how it works.
Most efficient heater I have owned. Been a pool owner since 1978 and have had a few heaters. Small foot print, quiet and I love the efficiency of this heater compared to my previous millivolt style. I have this... died and leaks after 5 years... and noone will do anything about it... completely ridiculous. I have have other problems with other Hayward products as well but this has been my biggest headache.
This heater gets the job done really quick! Maybe a bit big for our pool but the heating it can do is great, Hayward always makes a good product.
I really like this heater, bought it for my 16 x 32 pool and it warms it up in only a couple hours. The buttons are really easy to understand and use too which makes it easy for my wife and I to both use.
Very impressed with this heater. Warms the pool water in minutes and is very easy to set the temp. Price here is also much lower than stores.
