We have purchased 14 of these rings over the past 4 years. Although they are convenient and work well "when" they work, the quality issues are really disappointing. The rings seem to have a life of only about two or three seasons before they start developing air leak issues. The air leakage consistently develops either through the valve seating or through small pin sized holes that cause not only air leakage but also allow water to get on the inside of the outer flotation ring or inside the center solar panel. And it's an incredible pain in the neck to drain-out the trapped water. Furthermore, on three of the rings the outer flap that is used to hang the rings has completely come off and we can no longer hang-up those rings. We have been very careful with these rings in regards to storage and usage but despite our best efforts these rings just do not seem to hold-up for more than a couple of seasons before starting to develop problems. Not sure that we want to be spending $200 to $500 every two or three years to replace the rings that fail Currently, I am not sure we will continue to invest in these rings unless the manufacturer starts building these with a more durable and better quality material.

Purchased 13 rings in 2021 for over $700. Worked well for what we needed. All rings destroyed with one hail storm in 2023. Trying to decide whether to purchase again. (Will research if hail completely destroys solar blankets?)

I purchased 12 rings in 2022 and they worked well for that season and retained air.
Cost was $700.00 cdn
I stored them indoors over the winter.and care for them properly during the season.
However.. in 2023, it seems that all I do is retrieve deflated rings from my pool and latch them.
This season approximately 60% have sprung small holes in the clear plastic on top.
I have had to patch them with my own glue and vinyl from old pool bags.
Too bad they did not provide patch kits as the quality of the clear plastic is less than desirable.
I am very disappointed in the quality , for 700$ I would have expected them to last longer than one season.
Even my pool loungers last longer .!!!
I haven’t bothered contacting s the manufacturer because I am sure they would state that I did something wrong using these items or caring for them.

We love these sun rings. I can get them on and off the pool without Jim's help and the water is much warmer.

Thought these would heat my pool faster than a blanket. Up side to these - they all connect and are much easier to remove from the pool water than an actual blanket.

I don't have room around my pool for a solar cover or roll up system. These work great and fit perfectly in my pool shed. Great product!

We heard about the sun rings and decided to try them out in our pool at our cottage. We found them easy to set up and use and found they did heat up the water pretty good.

I like that I can pull them out of the pool in bunches beacuse of the magnets and helps warm my pool up in the sun but doesn't get to hot. My friend bought some to when she saw how good they work.
