The Swimline FrogLog Critter Saving Escape Ramp is easy to set up and provides a method of escape for frogs, squirrels, turtles, lizards, and other small creatures that inadvertently make their way into your swimming pool.
The Swimline FrogLog Critter Saving Escape Ramp is easy to set up and provides a method of escape for frogs, squirrels, turtles, lizards and other small creatures that inadvertently make their way into your swimming pool.
Simply place the floating platform in the water and place the weighted fabric pouch on the pool deck. The FrogLog is not permanently attached and can be placed and removed in seconds. Animals instinctively swim to the edge of the pool and circle the edge, seeking a way out. The animal will bump into the FrogLog and climb out of the pool!

No more dead frogs or mammals. Have witnessed a chipmunk using it to escape. Great product.

Lots of toads and frogs of all sizes saved this year thanks to this product. Very pleased. Easy to set up.
Prior to using this I found one or two frogs/moles per day in my skimmer. Not a single one since I put this beside the skimmer. I can't prove that they use it, as I haven't seen it, but the fact that no more have drowned would indicate to me that it does as advertised.
We live in the country so we Used to find dead toads and frogs in the skimmer every morning. Ever since we put the frog escape in the pool we haven't had a single dead critter bigger than a bug inside the skimmer. We put it right beside the skimmer opening and we have had complete success from just 1 escape log. Our pool is a 12×18 oval. If you are having dead critter problems in your pool I 100% recommend this!

Seems to work, seen the odd frog hanging out on it. It does however hold a lot of the debris that would end up in skimmer basket. If nothing else it feels like the right thing :)
Every pool owner should get this. We don't get many frogs, but we always had some small animals fall in and drown. This past season we only had 1 dead chipmunk vs the typical 6-7 per year...and less mice as well --- birds also use this to walk on to drink from the pool ....
Within five minutes of setting up the Frog Log, a large toad lept into our pool. Nearly instantly it made it's way to the Frog Log and easily jumped from the platform to poolside without even needing the little ladder. Instead of a dead toad or multiple toads/frogs/critters in the pool they all make it out now. It's truly effective and wildlife friendly!
This product was even better than expected when it arrived. I ordered 3 but wish I had ordered 5 now due to the size of our pool.
What a great product. We have no fatalities or recues of any small animals or frogs. Its so simple, carefree and so inexpensive and it matches to pool perfectly. I would highly recommend this product to save the wildlife from drowning in your pool.
