Warranty Coverage: Zodiac Water Testing Systems come with a 2 Year Limited Manufacturers Warranty on the device and probe, and a 1 Year Limited Manufacturers Warranty on the battery. The manufacturer warrants this water testing system against defects on workmanship and materials. This warranty will be void if this water testing system is damaged as a result of improper installation or use, or if damage is a result of ice. Warranty does not cover any labour charges, cost of lost water or chemicals, or any other damages that may occur.

I have found it to be extremely reliable and accurate for my salt water pool. Very accurate PH readings and the ORP readings let me know when to adjust my chlorination up or down. I live in Winnipeg and have SigFox coverage, which is great as I get about 20 readings a day (don’t really need that many!) I had it installed into the piping with the optional adapter resulting it being located just on the other side of the house wall, so the extender works great for me as well. As for the replacement parts “every two years”, the app will tell you to replace the battery etc. but I think this is based on time since activation (2 years), not battery life. Since I can only use my pool for a max of four months a year, I am going to see how long it will work without changing anything. I have used it for three seasons now and it is still going strong. After a pool party or a large rain, this device is priceless in getting the PH and chlorine back to where it should be. I highly recommend it.
This is a must have especially if you have a heater in your pool. The replacement probe and battery need to be replaced every 2 years at a cost of about $350 which is expensive. Still it’s much cheaper than replacing your pool heater because your PH isn’t perfect. Can’t stand using test strips as I have found different strips will give you different results and you’re never 100% sure on the reading. This gadget just makes this so much easier. Also great for hot tubs that can be difficult to balance and maintain. Was worth the money.
The product works well but the probe that measures the sanitation and PH levels as well as the battery must be replaced every 1-2 years at a cost of $250+tax for the probe and $30+ tax for the batter. NOT WORTH THE MONEY. Who wants to spend over $300 every two years for a fancy wifi thermometer/strip tester...If I knew the cost of maintaining this unit I would have NEVER purchased it.
I like having it. I wish they had examples of normal ebb and flow charts over a week for example. A bit on the expensive side. I recommend this product.
Couldn't be happier with this little blue fella. Smart, reliable and for an old guy that doesn't want to learn water chemistry, this piece of equipment is spot on. Very impressed.
Seriously, don't mind negative reviews. Some folks just dont it. I have purchased this item early spring 2020, and wow! 1. Never ever i have ever had my water so clear for such a long time. And I don't expect to have any issues for all summer. Even when its +35 outside. 2. No more guessing what i need and when. 3. Its a hudge time saver. No need to run to the store to test the water. 4. This thing will paid itself. I have found my self using so little chemicals its nuts.
The blue extender needs to be really close to the blue connect. Also the extender is very flaky and I’m have to spend days trying to get it to work.
This thing is amazing - we will be buying another one for our hot tub. The only issue we have is that the extender is nearly useless unless you can mount it very close to the blue connect unit itself.
Very neat product. We have access to the Sigfox network which really enhances the item. Otherwise you can connect wirelessly via your smart phone or tablet. The WiFi extender has to be very close to the Blue Connect, so it really isn’t practical. The Blue Connect is the plus version (20 readings a day), is the salt version and measures ph, salinity in ppm, temperature and an overall pool cleanliness factor called ORP. This latter measure appears to be an alternative to the free chlorine approach. There are charts to convert, though they aren’t needed. The Blue Connect floats in the pool and comes with a pool chord to tie it to a ladder, for example. The negatives of having it floating in the pool and price are really outweighed by its usefulness. If you like digital gadgets this is a must have, especially if you have access to Sigfox. There are no connection fees with a Blue Connect, which is a big plus.
Super easy to use! Readings have all been really accurate so far and the guides are very helpful.
Fonctionne très bien . mais attention prend un pile spécial qui n'est pas rechargeable pour remisé la sonde il faut la mettre dans un liquide spécial ... Fonctionne avec Alexa !
